Jun Wei's Typical Day
No two days are ever the same, and he finds that unpredictability is exactly what makes the work engaging. Engineers are ultimately hired to be problem solvers, which requires a constant blend of technical expertise and "soft" leadership. His day generally revolves around two core pillars:
•  Stakeholder Influence: A significant part of his role involves "reading the room." It is about crafting a narrative that translates complex environmental data into a compelling value proposition, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and convinced of the importance of our sustainability initiatives.
•  Connecting the Dots: He dedicates time daily to continuous learning. The field evolves rapidly, and the real challenge lies in absorbing new information and identifying how to apply it effectively to our unique regional challenges.
The more varied the day, the more interesting the work; solving a mix of technical and people-centric problems is what keeps the role rewarding.
