[Call for Abstracts] Symposium on Microplastics in the Environment and Water

Join us at the National University of Singapore from September 18-19, 2025, for the MP Symposium 2025. This event is a collaborative effort organised by the NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), the NUS Centre for Water Research (CWR), and the SG Lab Forum.

As the use of plastic materials continues to grow globally, the resulting microplastic pollution has become a significant environmental and public health concern. The MP Symposium 2025 aims to address these challenges by bringing together scientists, academics, researchers, industry stakeholders, and government agencies. Our goal is to enhance understanding, foster meaningful discussions, and promote collaborative efforts to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of microplastic pollution.

We invite you to be part of this important dialogue and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.

We welcome submission of abstracts on current and emerging topics, but not limited to:

  • Microplastics measurement in environment and water
  • Fate and behaviour of microplastics
  • Microplastics removal technologies
  • Health and ecological impact of microplastics
  • Plastics recycling and upcycling
  • Policy and regulatory aspects

Submit your abstract  (Deadline for abstract submission is on 30 June 2025 (Singapore time))
