Prof Rajasekhar Balasubramanian has received the PROSE (Professional and Scholarly Excellence) Award in recognition of his contributions to the Global Environmental Outlook – GEO-6: “Healthy Planet, Healthy People”, edited by United Nations Environment, Cambridge University Press. GEO-6 aims to help policymakers achieve the environmental dimension of the Sustainable Development Goals, internationally agreed environmental goals and the multilateral environmental agreements. This award, presented by the Association of American Publishers, has recognized the GEO-6 team whose landmark work has made significant advancements in the field of Environmental Sciences.
