Job Description
What the role is
As an Engineer (Project Management), you will represent HDB to work with the consultants and contractors to manage and oversee the construction of building projects.
What you will be working on
You will be involved in managing the project from construction commencement to completion. Your main responsibilities are to ensure quality, cost, safety and timely delivery of the project. At the same time, you need to be involved upstream at the design tender stage to ensure considerations at the construction stage are addressed.
During the construction phase, you are required to manage the consultants and contractors to ensure and oversee the daily construction activities including:
• works are carried out by the contractor in accordance with the Contract Documents
• works are supervised to ensure the quality of works is of an acceptable standard of workmanship
• site safety requirements are adhered to
• works are completed within the period stipulated and the budget allocated
• resolve technical and design issues with the consultants and contractors
• coordinate with other agencies on any development issues
• identify potential construction-related issues for solutions
• handle post-construction feedback and improvement works related to the project.
You may be involved in studies in the areas of safety, quality, environmental management, construction productivity and construction practices.
What we are looking for
You should possess a relevant background in Engineering (Civil/Structural/Mechanical) recognised by the Professional Engineers Board in Singapore. You should have a positive learning attitude, strong technical problem-solving skills as well as good writing and communication skills. What the role is
As Architect/Engineer (Sustainability & Projects), you will undertake research aimed at the reduction of carbon emissions and raising the sustainability standards of HDB buildings in support of the Singapore Green Building Masterplan. You will also work with the consultants and contractors to oversee the construction of HDB building projects.
What you will be working on
You will undertake research on building materials, green and sustainable products and work on the formulation of a carbon footprint calculator for commonly used materials and products in HDB building projects. You will work on the development of mechanisms to enable the mass and agile implementation of viable green, sustainable and low carbon materials.

Job Description
• Day-to-day management of properties
• Co-ordinate tenant fit-out works, additions and alterations work and reinstatement work
• Manage maintenance works to ensure the building facilities & equipment are in working condition
• Manage corporate administrative, regulatory compliance, quality control, inventory control and procurement

• Knowledge of blast engineering standards.
