MSc Student Exchange Programme
To enrich our students' academic journeys, NUS Civil and Environmental Engineering has introduced the MSc Student Exchange Programme (MSc SEP) with selected partner universities. Full-time and Part-time MSc Civil Engineering Students are welcome to participate in the MSc SEP for a transformative experience that extends beyond academics.

Selection Criteria
Students will be assessed based on a weighted average of their GPA and Personal Statement during the review process.
Faculty application criteria
PU’s requirement on study abroad/exchange programmes (e.g. minimum GPA/grades, language proficiency, semesters of study completed at home university)
Withdrawal from SEP
Once a student has accepted a SEP offer, he/she is expected to complete the SEP. Should a student decide to withdraw, they should submit a formal withdrawal request to the CEE Department SEP coordinator with their reason(s). Students who withdraw without a valid reason after accepting the offer on our partner university’s website may be charged administrative fees.

How to Apply?
1. Attend an Online Briefing Session | Join our briefing session to learn more about the exchange programme. Please register your interest to attend the online session. |
2. Research and Plan |
After the briefing session, research to develop a preliminary study plan. Ensure that the partner university’s academic calendar does not overlap with the NUS academic calendar. Additionally, confirm you are financially able to support your stay during your SEP. Note: Students are not allowed to go for the exchange during their last semester. |
3. Complete the Online Application Form | To apply for the MSc SEP, you will have to complete the Online Application Form latest by 15 August 2024. Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview in August 2024. |
4. Nomination for Approval | The CEE Department will forward the nominated lists\ to the respective partner university for approval. |
5. Receive Approval Notification | The CEE Department will inform students of the outcome via email before October 2024. |
6. Official Application to Partner University | Upon receiving confirmation from the partner university on your MSc SEP, visit the university's website to complete the online application form. Please note the application deadlines and required documents vary by university, so please check carefully |
