EVE students supervised by Prof Hu JY won the first prize at WEF-EESS student design competition - Civil and Environmental Engineering

Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering), Year 4 students (Chia Jia Ling, David Imanuel Tanaka, Neo Wen Yang, Wee Li Teng) supervised by Prof. Hu Jiangyong won 1st prize for WEF-EESS student design competition award in this July. Their design project titled “Two-Stage Bioretention Treatment for Stormwater and Irrigation runoff from Commercial Plant Nurseries” focuses on sustainable stormwater management issue. They will be representing Singapore to compete at the coming WEFTEC 2019 in Chicago, USA in September 2019.
