A group of 3 secondary students(Lim Yuan Heng, Matthew Yaw Kwok Jway, Tiu Joshua) from Raffles Institution competed in the 24th Youth Science Conference 2018 with a project titled “Effects of Advanced Oxidation Process and Biological processes on industrial wastewater”. They were mentored by Professor Hu Jiangyong and Mr Oh Guo Liang. As a part of the Science Mentorship Program (SMP), they performed experiments for approximately 6 months and were awarded with 3M Best Project award and Distinction award for their outstanding performance.
