Professor Choo is conferred the Honorary Fellow by the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers, Singapore (SNAMES) Council in recognition of his expertise and key contributions to SNAMES as President, international standards for offshore structures, and accreditation of degree programmes in various universities and institutions through IMarEST.
