Assistant Professor Elita Li from NUS Civil & Environmental received the J.Clarence Karcher Award from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) in October 2018 for her work in exploration geophysics. Besides having seven first-authored papers in Geophysics and a co-authorship in Geophysical Journal International, Dr Li is also an active member of SEG, engaging with the Translations Committee and three other conference organising committees
