Best Poster Award (the 1st Prize) @ The IWA 2018 World Water Congress

Ryan De Sotto, a Ph.D student in the Environmental Engineering Program and Dr. BAE, Sungwoo, received an award for Best Poster Award (the 1st Prize) at The IWA 2018 World Water Congress & Exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan. The poster presented molecular methods to understand microbial communities responsible for nutrient removal in two lab-scale membrane bioreactors. The IWA World Water Congress brought over 6000 water, and environment and related professionals from more than 100 countries and offered new insight into how pioneering science, technological innovation and leading practices shaped the major transformation in water managements and industries.
