PhD student Deepak Kumar (supervisors A/Prof Poh LH & Prof Quek ST) won the 1st place in the student paper competition, organized by the Modeling Inelasticity & Multiscale Behavior Committee of ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) - Civil and Environmental Engineering

PhD student Deepak Kumar (supervisors A/Prof Poh Leong Hien & Prof Quek Ser Tong) has won the 1^st place in the student paper competition, organized by the Modeling Inelasticity & Multiscale Behavior Committee of ASCE Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI). The competition was supposed to be part of the ASCE EMI conference scheduled in May 2020, Columbia University, New York, but later postponed due to COVID-19. For this competition, special arrangement was made to have an online evaluation of paper and presentation.
