Prof Tan Kiang Hwee & Dr Akshay Venkateshwaran, Alumnus have been awarded the Frederick Palmer Prize 2021 by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK - Civil and Environmental Engineering

Prof Tan Kiang Hwee and his former PhD student, Dr Akshay Venkateshwaran, have been awarded the Frederick Palmer Prize 2021 by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK, for their paper on “Moment redistribution in continuous steel-fibre-reinforced concrete slabs”. The prize is awarded annually to authors from both industry and academia who have produced work judged by their peers to be of exceptional quality and benefit to the civil engineering, construction and materials science community. It will be presented at the ICA Awards Ceremony at ICE Headquarters in London on 15 October 2021.
