Remarkable achievement by NUS CEE Civil Engineering undergraduate students who participated in the Engineering Innovation Challenge 2023 organized by the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES). The team is comprised of: Bazil Bin Akhbar Angullia, Ng Jun Wei, Liu Congzhi, Shanmuganathan Kumaraval, and Shashank Kumaar.
The team has proposed a novel solution to address the pressing national issue of the sand crisis. They have been recognized as the Merit Winner in this prestigious competition. What makes this achievement even more special is that Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Heng Swee Keat himself has commended their solution on his social media platform. This recognition reflects the significance and impact of the innovative solution put forth by our students.
