Dr. Xia Zhengang, Research Fellow at the Centre for Water Research (CWR), Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), supervised by Prof. Hu Jiangyong, has been honoured with the Water Travel Award. Selected as one of three awardees globally, Dr. Xia is also the only award recipient from Asia. This award demonstrates the achievement of his work in novel bioprocess for wastewater treatment.
Water Travel Award was launched in 2018, and it is presented to three awardees every year to encourage junior scientists to present their latest novel research at academic conferences in the field of all aspects of water, including water science, technology, management, and governance.
