Biography
Dr. Lim Ken Chai is an accomplished Civil Engineer with extensive experience and expertise. Since 2007, he has been a registered Professional Engineer and Specialist Professional Engineer in Singapore, playing pivotal roles in over 50 construction projects spanning residential, commercial, and transportation sectors spreading across ASEAN countries.
Dr. Lim’s remarkable achievements include founding a Consulting Company specializing in major underground building works, which has expanded to encompass approximately 100 technical staff. Currently, he holds the position of Consultant/Qualified Person for local mega infrastructures overseeing a team of 30 technical staff members.
Recognized with prestigious awards from the BCA and LTA, Dr. Lim’s expertise encompasses various civil engineering domains and specialises in deep excavations and tunnelling works. Â His dedication extends to imparting knowledge as an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore, inspiring future engineers.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Dr. Lim actively contributes to the community, serving on committees to promote engineering advancements and co-founding a social enterprise aimed at positive societal impact.
