  • Shell Project & Technology East – Manager led successfully delivery of Tension Leg Platform (TLP) design, TLP-Tender Drilling Vessel coupled global motion analyses, wave basin and wind model tests, TLP hull and deck structural design, tendon global analysis,
  • Delft University of Technology – Thesis committee member as well as an internship supervisor for MSc degree student working on vibrations on Gravity Based Structures induced by Ice conditions offshore Sakhalin Island.
  • Lead Engineer accountable for the retrofitting designs of CID, an arctic platform consisting a steel plated hull, concrete caisson and steel mud-base. Scope involves advanced structural design for ice-loading, wave slamming, fatigue, earthquake loading conditions
  • Structural Lead accountable for the execution of the Front End Engineering Design activities for the oil & gas producing facilities modules suitable for ice environment in the Caspian sea
    Shell Technology Focal point to develop a jack up concept for year round drilling in the arctic area to reduce development cost
  • Steering Committee member representing Shell Expro (UK) and A/S Norske Shell (Norway) on joint industry test Programmes undertaken by DNV (Norway) to determine the ultimate strengths on tubular connections & 3D frames.
  • Project Lead responsible for planning, design supervision and project management of a $200 million offshore gas facility project including concept screening, development option studies, and conceptual & detailed design.
