Bachelor of Technology (CE) Programme

Our part-time degree programme for polytechnic graduates working in the industry is available through the NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE). You will be taught by some of the same professors and sharing the same facilities as our full-time degree programme.

Programme Educational Objectives

The Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) of the BTech Civil Engineering programme are as follows:

  1. Depth in fundamental knowledge of core civil engineering disciplines
  2. Breadth in integrative skills to apply the knowledge gained
  3. Appreciation of interactions between engineering, business and technology in modern society
  4. Drive for life‐long learning and self-development
  5. Understand role as civil engineers in the sustainable developments of society in both national and global contexts.
  6. Ensuring that our graduates are equipped with the basic civil engineering core competencies to meet the requirements for the practice of civil engineering in Singapore in accordance to the Professional Engineers Board.
