Students who wish to enrol in the Environmental Engineering programme must have obtained H2 pass in Mathematics or Further Mathematics, in addition to the minimum requirements for application to the University. Students with insufficient Physics background will need to read Physics bridging modules after enrolling in NUS.

Selection tests or interviews are not required as part of the application process except for applicants under consideration for scholarships or aptitude-based (discretionary) admission.

For applicants to NUS with Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level, Polytechnic, NUSHS, and IB certificates, NUS will award bonus points for their first choice of programme for admission from Academic Year 2021/2022 onwards.
