What You Will Learn
Participants will have an overview of basic project management and how it is applied. It covers the strategic use of projects as part of a business strategy, and the factors that underpin the success of projects. The designer can be part of an effective leadership in managing projects and this is emphasized at each stage of the cycle.

Assoc Professor Daniel Wong
Associate Professor Daniel Wong Hwee Boon is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers and an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Building. He serves as Deputy Head (Admin & Finance) in NUS’s Department of Building, where he also chairs the Safety & Health Committee and represents the Building Estate Management Alumni. His research interests include SMART Facilities Management, strategic planning, FM Contracts, and Management Information Systems. In the private sector, A/P Wong contributed to major projects like a premier waterfront development in Singapore, a large mixed-use development in the UAE, and an international industrial park in Vietnam. He has received the PAQS Service Excellence Award and the SPRING Excellent Service Gold Award.
