Photography exhibition focuses on ancient sites of Delos
An exhibition of archaeological photographs from the ancient Greek island of Delos, taken by a former CDE visiting professor, has opened at NUS. Afloat: The Shifting Landscapes of Delos, by award-winning Greek architectural photographer Erieta Attali, focuses on the ancient archaeological sites found on Delos.
The exhibition is supported by the Department of Architecture in collaboration with the Embassy of Greece in Singapore, and is on show at NUS University Hall. Afloat: The Shifting Landscapes of Delos is being held at NUS University Hall from 15 March 2024 to 12 April 2024.

Onboarding at CDE
The Dean’s Office organised the third batch of Onboarders’ Orientation on 27 February 2024, successfully integrating 29 new staff into the CDE community. The new joiners engaged with other CDE staff over a networking lunch filled with warmth and camaraderie.
The highlight of the session was the tour of the Innovation and Design Hub (IDH) and Design Incubation Centre (DIC) facilities, which was exceptionally well-received. Overall, feedback from attendees was extremely positive. Our sincere thanks to Wan Jun from DIC and Gabriel from IDH for their presentations, which significantly enriched the orientation experience for all those onboarded.
Admissions 2024: CDE @ NUS On-Campus Experience
NUS Open House 2024 returned to an enthusiastic reception as visitors turned up in force to experience one of NUS’ largest events of the year. Held in a hybrid format from 2 to 9 March 2024 and pulled together by the efforts of 2,674 faculty, staff, students and alumni, the event achieved a reach of more than 8.4 million – up from 7.7 million in 2023 – as visitors explored the comprehensive showcase of what NUS has to offer both online and in-person.

Upcoming: iDP Showcase 2024!
The iDP Project Showcase 2024 highlights the work by this year's graduating students in the Innovation & Design Programme. Join us in celebrating the completion of our students' projects, featuring over 30 innovative projects spanning healthcare, sustainability, smart systems, immersive reality, and more. Don't miss the chance to their prototypes, learn about special competition projects like Bumblebee and Formula SAE, and vote for your favourites during the showcase.
