During his career, Prof Lim has mentored more than 30 Masters and 50 PhD students, as well as 20 postdoctoral fellows.

Professor Lim Chwee Teck (Biomedical Engineering) has been presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Nature Awards for Mentoring in Science, recognising his work in supporting early career researchers and nurturing the next generation of scientists.

Associate Professor Ong Ghim Ping, Raymond was appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs as a Council Member of the Singapore Road Safety Council for a three-year term from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2026.

Professor Rajasekhar Balasubramanian was invited by the Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).to participate in the Expert Group Meeting on Innovative Technologies and Applications for Urban Air Pollution Control in Asia and the Pacific’ as a keynote speaker and deliver a presentation on ‘Innovative technologies for city air pollution control – challenges and opportunities for scaling up and adoption’ on 25 May 2023, in virtual mode. The keynote presentation is expected to provide valuable insights into innovative technologies and their applications for air pollution control in cities of the Asia-Pacific region, and guide the brainstorming discussion to develop recommendations for cross-border technology collaboration and regional cooperation.

The Theory and Practice of Motion Design” (edited by Associate Professor R Brian Stone, Acting Head of the Division of Industrial Design, and Leah Wahlin) was featured on two web sites as a must read for people the animation and motion design fields.
