Mr Chandra Kumar S/O Vendesan
Senior Manager, Safety and Space, Dean’s Office
Chandra has extensive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience spanning operational and corporate roles in industries such as Marine & Transportation before joining NUS. His tenure has endowed him with a profound understanding of risk management, compliance and the nurturing of a safety-centric culture. With his wealth of experience in HSE, he will oversee and strengthen the development and implementation of Safety & Health in CDE as a business partner.
Mr Yeo Kai Shing, Dylan
Senior Executive, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Dylan graduated from NUS with a major in Environmental Engineering. Previously, he was a Senior Lab Executive with the NUS Environmental Research Institute where he gained experience in research project, lab safety, and research finance management. He will manage the Transportation Laboratory and support education-related initiatives and research grants administration in the Lab.
Mr Muhammad Nur Hakim Bin Noor Rahman
Specialist Associate, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Muhammad Nur Hakim joined E6NanoFab as one of the core members of our Emergency Response Team. He specialises in responding to emergencies in our high-risk facilities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel, and mitigating any risks associated with hazardous materials or other emergency conditions.

Ms Chye-Lee Soo Leng, Management Assistant Officer, Department of Mechanical Engineering, last day of service is on 31 May 2024.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering congratulates Soo Leng on her well-deserved retirement! As one of our longest-serving staff members, Soo Leng has witnessed the growth and many changes in this department, touching many with her warm, approachable nature. As she embarks on this new chapter, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for her decades of service and contributions. She will be greatly missed.
