Mr Chua Mingjing, Damien
Manager, Office of Development, Dean’s Office
Mr Chua Mingjing, Damien, is dedicated to advancing organisational growth through purposeful stewardship and strategic relationship-building. With extensive regional experience across multiple countries, he has strengthened institutional reputations while fostering meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders.
His expertise lies in developing authentic brand narratives, cultivating trust-based partnerships, and implementing data-informed strategies that enhance both organisational impact and stakeholder value. Drawing on his background in technology and the institutional sector, he brings a people-centric approach to collaboration, engagement, and sustainable development.
Committed to contributing to NUS’s mission, he strives to foster enduring partnerships, deepen stakeholder trust, and support initiatives that drive meaningful and lasting impact within the College of Design and Engineering.
Ms Quek Tze Guek
Assistant Senior Manager, Office of Undergraduate Programmes, Dean’s Office
Ms Quek Tze Guek formerly worked with NUS Libraries, bringing over 10 years of experience in subscriptions procurement, data analytics, process improvement, user education, etc. She led high-impact negotiations and licensing reviews that delivered substantial annual cost savings and strengthened long-term budget sustainability, collaborating closely with NUS stakeholders and a consortium.
A hands-on practitioner, she developed data dashboards, conducted university-wide surveys, and applied Lean methodologies to streamline workflows and improve service quality, consistently earning good teaching satisfaction ratings through blended learning approaches. She is accredited in UX design, business analytics, negotiation, and Lean Six Sigma, and is an active volunteer in Singapore’s arts and maritime heritage communities.
Ms Chiang Jie Yi, Jacqueline
Assistant Manager, Outreach and Special Projects, Dean’s Office
Ms Chiang Jie Yi, Jacqueline, provides administrative and coordination support to the Dean's Office (Outreach and Special Projects) for its programmes. Prior to joining CDE, she coordinated electives, summer programmes, and workshops at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NUS Enterprise, where she honed her administrative skills and gained valuable experience in programme management.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys exploring new places. She enjoys taking long walks to clear her mind and soak in the views, as well as hunting for the cutest Popmart figurine to add to her collection.
Mr Koh Chan Wai
Senior Executive, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, CFI
Chan Wai joined Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute (CFI) Singapore as a Senior Executive. He will support the research administration of CFI projects. Prior to joining NUS, he was with A*STAR. Outside of work, he enjoys playing billiards and exploring new cafes.
Ms Ng Shu En, Joanna
Executive, Office of Graduate Programmes, Dean’s Office
Ms Ng Shu En, Joanna, supports admission and examination matters for the Graduate Programmes by Coursework, as well as other administrative functions. A recent Master of Arts in Humanities Education graduate, she is eager to apply her knowledge and grow in her new role.
