MSE undergraduate students excelled in both athletics and research
At the World University Games, our 2nd-year UG student Chloe Tan Rui En represented Singapore and achieved her first international match win, gaining valuable insights and learning to adapt her techniques under pressure. ”In judo, maximum efficiency with minimal effort mirrors engineering; strategy is key,“ she said.
Our 4th-year UG student, Yihang Ouyang, achieved significant advances in the strain control of third-harmonic generation in Nb₂SiTe₄ driven by tunable anisotropic characteristics, which was published in a prestigious journal, Advanced Functional Materials (impact factor = 19).
