“Anamorphosis” means “a gradual progression of form from one type to another in evolution”. Mirroring this abstract concept, “Anamorphsis” lead me to transform four household objects into a palm-sized sculpture. The four common household items I chose – a sprayer, a peeler, a file ring and a measuring spoon, were observed, documented, analyzed, deconstructed, recombined and remade to a ceramic-clay sculpture. The final sculpture had no visual resemblance to the original household objects.
