Reflecting the romanticism of reading by candlelight, Kindle is ideal for sharing a joyous message with a poetic touch. The illuminating flame sets the scene for a slow reveal in an intimate setting. Exhibited at the National Design Centre Singapore.
Upon receiving the mail, one would find a square box filled with wax, with a hidden message underneath.
As one lights up the wick, the wax slowly melts to reveal the intimate message.
Through multiple explorations, our group discovered the potential of using wax as a material to reveal one’s message. Wax has the potential to morph endlessly between states, providing the opportunity of an infinite unraveling experience.
