On 10 July 2026, E6NanoFab hosted 25 participants from the NUS Science Summer Institute (SSI) for a laboratory tour showcasing advanced semiconductor technologies and research capabilities.

The visit commenced with presentations by Dr Manohar Lal and Ms Huang Lixia, introducing E6NanoFab and the Master of Science (Science and Technology) [MSc (STO)], a programme offered by the NUS College of Design and Engineering, launched in 2024, which now features a Specialisation in Applied AI for Materials and Process Engineering.

Participants toured E6NanoFab’s state-of-the-art nano- and microelectronics fabrication facilities and the SHINE Advanced Packaging Lab gaining valuable exposure to semiconductor fabrication, advanced packaging technologies, and research opportunities at NUS.
