On 7 Jan 2023, E6NanoFab was part of NUS CDE EnGeNius event that served to provide prospective students with a chance to know more about the engineering course. Prof Aaron Thean, Dean of CDE who is also Director of SHINE Centre and E6NanoFab introduced the multi-disciplinary nano-microelectronics and next-generation hybrid-integrated microelectronics technology to two groups of prospective students prior to entering the lab tour.

The tour provided attendees with the opportunity to experience the cleanroom full cleanroom process including gowning up with cleanroom attire. Dr Baochang(David) Xu, lab tour leader enthused prospective students with vivid presentation of advanced semiconductor and microelectronics capabilities like deposition and characterization housed within class 100 cleanroom. He also window showcased state-of-the-art lithography capabilities located inside class 10 cleanroom. We believe the tour will excite prospective students who revel in the challenge of nano-microelectronics fabrication technologies that shape tomorrow’s most advanced IoT applications.
