Congratulations to Dr Khoo Eng Tat and Mr Eugene Ee who were recognized for their teaching excellence in academic year 2019/2020!

Dr Khoo Eng Tat, a Senior Lecturer in EDIC, was awarded the Innovative Teaching Award for the use of innovative methodologies for his teaching. He has been helming the Ideas to Start-up module and accelerator programme in the Innovation & Design Programme (iDP) to promote entrepreneurship amongst iDP students, drawing from his extensive experience and network in the local start-up community. He also supervises many projects in the iDP on virtual reality and augmented reality, in collaboration with many industry partners such as National University Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital.

Mr Eugene Ee, an Instructor in EDIC, received the Faculty Teaching Excellent Award for his commitment to teaching. He teaches EG2310 Fundamentals of Systems Design and EG2311 Introduction to Space Systems, two introductory modules that are offered to students in the iDP. He supervises many projects on nanosatellite design and robotics, and is well regarded for his enthusiasm to teach engineering skills to students in the iDP. He is the favourite go-to person for electronics in the iDP.

We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them many more successes to come!
