Innovating for Better Healthcare

Team Biotrack won the NUS Resilience and Growth (R&G) Innovation Challenge and I&E Practicum@SoC grant.

Congratulations to our iDP team Biotrack who won the NUS Resilience and Growth (R&G) Innovation Challenge and I&E Practicum@SoC grant. Both grants are intended to turn ideas into a real business.

Comprising of Jonathan Chua (Electrical Engineering, Class of 2022), Joshua Seetoh (Chemical Engineering. Class of 2022), Qiu Jing Ying(Computer Science. Class of 2022), and Tun Wai Wai (Biomedical Engineering, Class of 2022), Biotrack aims to save cardiac patients with a wearable ECG Monitor and AI-Assisted Diagnosis. Their solution is targeted at hospitals, seeking to introduce a miniaturised version of a 12 Leads ECG and are working to use machine learning algorithms to identify abnormal heart rhythms real-time and give warnings about potential heart attacks, thereby potentially saving lives. At the same time, it is designed to ease the manpower constraints faced in hospitals by replacing the manual tasks of repeated measurements with a continuous monitoring system. Their journey started in EG3301R DCP Project and they currently looking forward to starting the iDP pre-accelerator module EG4301A Ideas to Start-up.
