National Runner-up in James Dyson Award 2018

A team of four iDP students created an intelligent digital watch paired with a smart pillbox to help working elderly who are suffering from chronic illnesses to remember to take their medication on the go. Their invention was awarded the National Runner-up Prize in the James Dyson Award 2018.

A team of iDP students comprising Pun Tze Yang Timothy (Mechanical Engineering),  Dhanashree Lyra Govindaraju (Industrial & Systems Engineering), Farm Zheng Hao (Mechanical Engineering) and Lai Ying Xian (Chemical Engineering) created an intelligent digital watch paired with a smart pillbox to help working elderly suffering from chronic illnesses to remember to take their medication on the go. Their invention was awarded the National Runner-up Prize in the James Dyson Award 2018.

iDP students clinch NUS Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize and CDE Innovation & Research Award 2023

Congratulations to our iDP students who won this year’s College of Design and Engineering (CDE) Innovation & Research Award (High Achievement) and the NUS Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize! Their winning entries were their projects from EG3301R Ideas to Proof-of-Concept which were completed between January and November 2022.

NUS Formula SAE ranked in top 20 teams in Michigan

A big round of applause for our NUS Formula SAE team as they return from Michigan, USA, flying the Singapore and NUS flags high! The team clinched 18th out of 69 places at the Formula SAE Electric competition in June.

NUS RoboMaster team wins 2nd prize at RoboMaster University League competition

Congratulations to the NUS RoboMaster team who came in as first runner-up in the RoboMaster University League (RMUL) competition that was held at the University of Washington in Seattle on 5-9 July 2023!
