Mobile workstation solution for healthcare professionals

Mobile Inpatient Care-at-Home (MIC@Home) nurses need to carry medical equipment to deliver hospital-level care at patients’ homes. However, they face challenges such as heavy luggage, disorganised packing, and makeshift workstation and intravenous drip setups.

To address these limitations, we designed Workstation on Wheels – an all-in-one lightweight luggage that weighs under 10kg and streamlines the packing and transportation of equipment as well as administration of medication. This solution aims to increase efficiency and comfort of nurses during their MIC@Home shifts. Its key features include specialised drawers, a built-in intravenous drip stand, and a deployable workstation table.
