Space Systems Studio: University Rover Challenge
This studio aims to bring together like-minded people to take part in projects related to space systems. The studio also aims to get students connected with people in the industry and aims to give them a head start for a career in the local space industry.
This studio will focus on the University Rover Challenge which is an annual tertiary level competition for student teams to build a rover that is able to complete challenging missions in a simulated Mars environment at the Mars Desert Research Station in the Utah desert. Students who are keen to work on the competition vehicle will not only hone their technical skills but will also be taking up leadership roles, both technical as well as non-technical throughout the project.
