Choi Mijin

Biography

Mijin holds a Master of Science in Engineering Design and Innovation and a Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology from the Interdisciplinary Computing Technology department, with a double degree in Business Administration. Mijin’s journey in engineering design began as a UX researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at Hanyang University, where they focused on user experience and interaction design.

Following graduation, Mijin joined the Apple Developer Academy @POSTECH as a junior iOS designer and developer, gaining hands-on experience in mobile app design and development. During her MSc studies, she deepened her expertise by completing courses in Product Development, Critical Design, Systems Engineering, and Human Factors in Engineering and Design.

Her EDI project, “EV Futures,” involved designing a cable management system to support Singapore’s transition to electric vehicles, contributing to Singapore’s livable infrastructure for the future EV era.

In addition to her work, Mijin is an active member of the iOS / design community, contributing articles to Bootcamp, UX Collectives via Medium, sharing insights and research with designers.
