Biography
Koen Mouthaan received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He also obtained an MBA from NTU, Singapore.
He first worked at TNO Defense, Safety and Security in the Netherlands, and then at SkyGate, a company that designed phased-array antennas for consumer applications. Between 2003 and 2015 he was assistant professor and associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He rejoined the department in 2016, with a joint appointment at EDIC. His interests include design, innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborating with industry on challenging student projects.
