CDE receives S$100,000 gift from The Masonic Charitable Fund

On 5 October 2022, a gift agreement signing and cheque presentation ceremony was held at the National University of Singapore, College of Design and Engineering (CDE) to mark the expansion of the Masonic Charitable Fund Endowed Bursary.

A generous S$100,000 gift from The Masonic Charitable Fund, made possible by the Lion of Erin Lodge, will further strengthen support for deserving CDE students.

Dr Brian Shegar, Mr Bruce Blanckley and Reps of Lion of Erin Lodge presented the cheque to CDE Dean, Professor Aaron Thean on behalf of The Masonic Charitable Fund

To date, MCF has contributed a total of S$75,000 to CDE. In recognition of this new gift, four bursary awards were named after The Masonic Charitable Fund, reflecting its enduring commitment to supporting the education and development of future engineers.

The gift agreement was signed by Dr Brian Shegar, Chairman of MCF, Prof Aaron Thean, Dean of CDE and Mr Bruce Blanckley, Worshipful Master, Lion of Erin Lodge.
