An application has to be submitted to the Department that you wish to pursue your programme in. If you wish to be considered for more than one department, you must submit separate applications. There is no limit to the number of applications you can submit. However, each application must be accompanied by separate net payment and supporting documents.
All applicants are to upload their supporting documents during the online application.
Shortlisted applicants will be subsequently informed by the Department Office of the programme to submit an official transcript of academic records from each university attended. You are responsible for requesting your transcript form the university concerned. Graduates from NUS can submit certified copies of the official transcripts of their academic records in their applications. For foreign graduates, the official transcript must be enclosed in a SEALED envelope with its flap bearing the security seal of the University and the signature of the Registrar or his/her representative. All documents should reach us no later than the stipulated date as indicated by the Department Office. Supporting documents, if not in English, should be accompanied by copies of the English translation of the documents.
Application Fee
An application fee of SGD$50 is payable for each Programme/Department applied to. Our online application system accepts payment via credit card (Visa, Master, Amex) or internet debit card (for local applicants with a Singapore bank account).
Application Status
Checking of Status
Your application is in draft stage if your Application Status is “Pending Online Submission”. Once you have successfully submitted your application, your Application status will be updated to “Submitted Online”.
Check the Graduate Admission System that your Application Status is updated to “Online/Physical Application Verified”. This would serve as a confirmation that you have completed the whole application process.
Release of Application Status
Results will be released from May for the August intakes and October for the January intakes.
Login to Graduate Admission System to view the results online. Only candidates who are offered admission will expect to receive the written notification and details by email.
Offer and Acceptance
Successful applicants should expect to receive an email offer. Upon receipt of your offer, please complete the relevant acceptance procedures accordingly. Please refer to your offer package for more information.
