Jihang YU

Lecturer

MSE

Yu Jihang received her bachelor’s degree with first class honors in 2015 from National University of Singapore, department of Material Science and Engineering. She continued with her Ph.D. in the same department and graduated in 2019. Her research interest is high perpendicular magnetocrystalline anisotropic (PMA) material for spintronic devices. Her work is the first to realize SOT switching in a single-layer, metallic PMA material.

Before joining NUS as a lecturer, she served as a principal process integration (PI) engineer in Technology and Development (TD) department of GlobalFoundries Singapore. She worked on the back end of line (BEOL) process integration for STTMRAM development and production.
