Dr Wan Chunfeng, a research fellow from NUS Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Mr Yap Hong Kai, an NUS Biomedical Engineering's alumnus, are among the honourees in the latest Forbes' top "30 Under 30/Asia" list for the Industry, Manufacturing & Energy and Healthcare & Science categories respectively.
Dr Wan specialises in water and energy research. His project is focused on studying Pressure Retarded Osmosis (PRO), which utilises osmotic pressure to generate energy, a technique which can be commercially viable. | |
Mr Yap, an engineering alumnus, is now a co-founder and CTO of Rocesco Technologies, a medtech startup that produces the EsoGlove - the world's lightest hand rehabilitation and exoskeleton device - which was Mr Yap's university research project. |
