Eco-Arts Park

The team identified Pearl's Hill Terrace as their project site and identified a few challenges namely: aging infrastructures, limited amenities, and a lack of creative scene. As a result, the team evaluated that the site requires a comprehensive redevelopment for accessibility, community well-being, expression and urban sustainability. It resulted to the team proposing an eco-arts park that has four main strategies:
- The Harmony of Nature: encourage inter-generational bonding through music and exercise
- The Canvas of Culture: provide platforms for local artists and accessible art immersion for the community
- The Pulse of Commerce: local business hub to expand creative scene in Singapore and with tourists
- The Taste of Connection: enhance connectivity and awareness to existing F&B in Chinatown
Dementia Care Relocation: A Gentle Transition for Elderlies

The team conducted their primary and secondary site analysis at their allocated district, Queenstown, and identified the following problem statement: "How do we create a smooth transition to minimise disruption before, during and after relocation?". The solution's vision is to develop a blueprint and strategic framework for upcoming relocation and minimise operational disturbances throughout the relocation process.
Hence, the team developed a human-centric process to relocation, highlighting three phases:
- Phase 1: Planning
- Phase 2: Preparation
- Phase 3: Implementation
