Enroll today to access invaluable insights and resources, positioning yourself for success in navigating the intricate realm of technology and system development.
System Analysis
Analytics for Social Good
Discover how machine learning and optimisation can help address real-world challenges in healthcare, housing allocation and sustainable infrastructure. Through an introductory lecture and hands-on activities using Python, students will explore real-world datasets and apply machine learning techniques to support decisions that benefit society.
Relevant Programme: Industrial Systems Engineering
Max Capacity: 50 pax
Net Zero Emissions Systems Analysis
Explore how systems thinking and sustainability analytics can support the transition to net zero emissions. Using Singapore as an example, students will take on the role of energy planners through interactive games, selecting energy sources and climate mitigation strategies while balancing electricity demand, costs and emissions targets.
Relevant Programme: Industrial Systems Engineering
Max capacity: 30 pax
Introduction to Simulation Analytics
How can we evaluate a decision before putting it into practice? Discover how simulation models help us understand complex systems and make decisions under uncertainty. Through instructor-led software demonstrations and practical case studies, students will explore how queues, limited resources and uncertainty affect operations across industries such as healthcare, transportation and manufacturing.
