SPECIAL FEATURE
An extension of the Division of Industrial Design (DID), the Communication Design Hub employs design students to develop a range of communication solutions to support research, outreach initiatives, student-centred activities, and communication. Capabilities include information design and graphics, interface and interaction design, motion graphics, videography, scientific posters, exhibits, and experiential design.
Since CDH's formation, CDE has been utilising the significant creative skills of our student talents in various areas, such as developing collaterals, designing logos and brands, updating websites, and providing photography & videography services for College events. Tan Cun Jia
Design Lead | Graphic & Speculative Designer
Cun Jia is the new design lead at CDH. She specialises in graphic and speculative design, having recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Division of Industrial Design. Her thesis project, Standard Singlish, explored the potential for a unique Singlish typographical system based upon linguistic principles, encouraging Singaporeans to reconsider the language's role within contemporary society.

Kristy Tan
Designer | Product and Motion Designer
Kristy is a skilled Product and Motion Designer with expertise in art direction and visual communication. Known for her animation, “What is your favourite coffee?” that was awarded “Finalist” at MODE Fest 2023, she excels at having a strong eye for detail and versatility across various disciplines. Passionate about creating a connection between the heart and the senses, where each creation embodies the spirit of imagination.
Givson Ong
Designer | Industrial Design
Givson is an industrial designer proficient in the end-to-end design process, from conceptualisation to implementation. He has been instrumental in broadening the Communication Design Hub's capabilities to include industrial design and advanced product visualisation, expanding the Hub’s consulting services. Driven by a passion for impactful design, Givson is committed to design for what truly matters.
Ye Lin
Designer | Graphic and Product Design
Ye Lin is a versatile industrial designer skilled in both graphic and product design.
Her projects in the Communication Design Hub span from event collaterals to hospital robotics and corporate gift design. Committed to building a multi-capable skill set to create solutions that resonate, Ye Lin thrives on designing for diverse contexts, always aiming for impactful and innovative outcomes.
Farah Hafizah
Designer | Industrial Design
Farah Hafizah is a versatile designer, with expertise spanning multiple domains, including motion design and interaction design. Known for her explorative approach, she has contributed to a range of projects, most notably animating for CDH and playing a key role in the creation of HoloMove, an interactive exhibit at the Science Centre. Farah’s passion for innovation and exploration drives her to deliver creative and impactful design solutions.
Chloe Kor
Designer | Industrial Designer
Chloe is a well-rounded designer with a focus on visual communication and experience design. Passionate about visual arts and designing for human-centric experiences, Chloe has contributed to a range of projects under CDH, most notably visualising the future of community spaces under Allkin. She also dabbles in illustrative work on the side.
Eda Yasmin Asni

Eda is a skilled graphic designer specialising in illustration and visual communication. She is known for their work on the NUS Cities newsletter cover and is skilled at creating designs that are both eye-catching and meaningful. Eda is passionate about community-focused design and consistently delivers creative and impactful solutions.
Ang Sze Ern
Designer | Industrial Design
Sze Ern is a curious, heartfelt designer—always exploring how she can push for meaningful change. With her strong foundation in Visual Communications and UI/UX, she strives to create designs that not only captivate, but also solve real-world problems.
Her work on the Allkin project with CDH, where she helped reimagine the possibilities of community spaces, highlights her deep passion for service and experience design. Sze Ern is extremely dedicated to using the power of design to craft inclusive, welcoming, and impactful experiences for all.
Rachel Tan Qian Yi
Designer | Graphic design, UIUX
Rachel is a skilled multi-disciplinary designer with expertise in UI/UX. Known for involving in major projects like OCBC, Prudential FA, Bandai Namco website revamp, and NUS related projects such as NUS STDCT, and NUS FASS Sociology and Anthropology website revamp, she excels at human experience research and finding insights to deliver human-centered solutions. Passionate about finding beauty in simplicity, Rachel delivers innovative and impactful solutions.
Chen Zi Xin

With a deep passion for UX/UI and human-centered design, she has contributed to impactful projects like Allkin with CDH, where future spaces are visualised. In her free time, she enjoys capturing moments at Playeum events through photography. Beatrice Lum

Beatrice is an industrial designer with a diverse background in various design disciplines. Passionate about user-centric experiences and product design, she seeks to create solutions that exist in a reimagined form and elevate the user experience. In her spare time, she also enjoys exploring the art of needlework. At the moment, Beatrice is currently involved in an ongoing website design project with the Department of The Built Environment.
