Dear students, alumni, colleagues, and partners of CDE,

We are currently in the middle of the long vacation period, which brings a noticeable quietness to the campus without the usual hustle and bustle of student activities.

Many faculty members take this opportunity to refocus on their research, attend important conferences to connect with other researchers and academics, and even initiate new collaborative projects with industry partners. This time is also used to prepare for curriculum reviews in anticipation of the next academic year. Meanwhile, students often engage in activities like vacation internships or part-time jobs during this break.

I encourage my colleagues and students to take time for themselves and to unwind. It doesn't have to be a lengthy and costly overseas vacation. Instead, dedicate a few days to disconnect from digital distractions. Spend time face-to-face with loved ones. Or just spend time not doing anything, allowing your mind to process thoughts and emotions.
