Jeroen Borst is a leader in urban innovation and the CEO of Scenexus, a Dutch tech company revolutionizing spatial planning through high-speed digital twin simulations. With over a decade of experience in urban strategy and environmental modelling, Jeroen is at the forefront of helping cities make smarter, faster, and more sustainable decisions.

 Prior to founding Scenexus, Jeroen led the Urban Strategy team at TNO, the Netherlands’ premier applied research institute. There, he spearheaded the development of integrated planning tools that now form the backbone of Scenexus’ platform—capable of simulating urban futures up to 1,000 times faster than traditional methods.

Jeroen holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Physics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is a frequent advisor to municipalities and international organizations on climate resilience, mobility, and digital transformation in urban environments.

 At conferences, Jeroen speaks passionately about the intersection of technology, sustainability, and urban design, offering insights into how cities can harness data and simulation to navigate the complex challenges of the 21st century.
