Exhibition Overview
This year’s graduate show presents outstanding student work from MAUD, MUP, and MSc ISD, reflecting a wide range of scales, complexities, and geographies. The exhibition highlights research-driven design and planning proposals that address contemporary urban and environmental challenges.

Programme Highlights

Master of Arts in Urban Design (MAUD)
The MAUD programme is structured around two-semester studios under the theme “The Regenerative City.” Semester 1 examines Singapore as a living laboratory through four urban palimpsests, reinterpreted into regenerative master plan scenarios. Semester 2 extends this work through three collaborative international studios in Bangkok, Suzhou, and Tokyo, supporting cross-cultural exchange and experimentation in regenerative urban design.

Master of Urban Planning (MUP)
MUP projects explore future planning scenarios for Singapore’s North Region, including Sungei Kadut and Kranji, as well as cross-border development opportunities linked to the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone. The programme also includes overseas studios that investigate alternative planning approaches in Ho Chi Minh City, Johor, and Bangkok through international collaboration.

MSc in Integrated Sustainable Design (ISD)
The MSc ISD studio work examines carbon and resilience through precinct- and building-scale projects in Surabaya and Singapore. Student work includes masterplans for Paya Lebar, the Greater Southern Waterfront, and East Coast “Long Island,” as well as design-by-research projects on energy, phygital spaces, vertical urbanism, and regenerative systems.
