Jason Lim is a Director at Yume Architects. Trained across architecture, engineering, and computation, his work brings together artistic intuition and technical rigour, approaching design as both a cultural and technological practice. He was co-curator and designer of the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2018 and 2025. Under his leadership, Yume Architects has developed a diverse body of work spanning residential and civic architecture, as well as interiors and art installations. The studio's work has been recognised internationally through awards including the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Design Award, iF Design Award, Kyoto Global Design Award, German Design Award, and Architecture MasterPrize.

An experienced and committed educator, Jason is invested in bridging academia and professional practice. His teaching explores the intersection of design, computation, fabrication and emerging technologies, advancing new modes of architectural thinking and making. He has taught at Singapore University of Technology and Design, National University of Singapore, Stevens Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design.

Jason completed his doctoral research at the Gramazio Kohler Research Unit at ETH Zurich, where he developed robot programming tools for architectural education. He also holds a Master of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University.
