Gardens By The Bay Scholarship

Offered to candidates who are passionate about Horticulture and possess a keen interest in pursuing a long-term career in this field. The Gardens will support our Scholars in embarking on their tertiary journey, with challenging and rewarding career paths and job rotations. Scholars can expect a rewarding experience – where passion is inspired and expertise is nurtured.

Eligibility

  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR).
  • GCE ‘A’ Level, local Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mid-term undergraduate or post-graduate students, or mid-career individuals with relevant industry experience are also welcome.
  • Record of excellent academic results.
  • Impressive co-curricular activities record.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong interest in a horticulture career.
  • Not currently in receipt of any other scholarship.

Design Singapore Scholarship

Design Singapore Scholarship is for individuals with creativity, drive and passion for design. The scholarship will groom designers to become designer leaders who will use strategy and innovation to make things better by design. Our scholarship holders may come from different fields of design, but they share one uncommon trait – they are game changers and aspire to contribute to Singapore and the design sector. We are on the lookout for talented individuals with creative flair, the drive to push boundaries; and a heart to serve Singapore.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Have completed National Service (for male applicants)
  • Have successfully gained admission to a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate design-related course in a reputable Singapore or overseas institution

NParks SCHOLARSHIP

NParks Scholarship is for individuals who look forward to an exciting and challenging career, with opportunities to be exposed to various professional portfolios in NParks. Outstanding scholars will also be given opportunities to be exposed to work in the Ministry and other Statutory Boards.

NParks PRIZE

This cash prize of $1,000 is awarded in each academic year to the top graduate with the highest Cumulative Average Point (CAP) in the BLA programme. Student has to complete the programme with the minimum CAP of 4.5 to be considered.

NParks Peter Lim Awards

Philanthropist, entrepreneur, and investor, Mr Peter Lim in partnership with NParks has pledged $10 million to enable deserving youths from less privileged backgrounds to pursue their interest, support their skills development and build capability in the landscaping, horticulture, ecology, veterinary and animal science sectors.

The funds will be administered through NParks’ registered charity and IPC, Garden City Fund over ten years from 2020 to 2030.
