Torrential Rain in Northern Kyushu in July 2017, unprecedented in the region, caused sever landslides and flooding and destroyed villages within the region. In collaboration with Asahiro Laboratory of Kyushu University, the studio produced masterplans and architectural design for the rehabilitation and future sustenance of Hiraenoki, one of the villages suffered the disaster.

The procedure includes an onsite investigation, interview with villagers and a series of seminars with landscape experts: Professor Kazuo Asahiro and his students in the Laboratory.

The work of student, Chan Hao, was published in Web-based architectural magazine, KooZA/rch.
