ABSTRACT
This lecture will go through several case studies of completed energy efficient buildings with measured energy data during operation, both for new construction and for retrofitted buildings. The lecture will also expand on what is meant by “high performing” buildings, as exemplified by the biophilic multi-award winning green factory, Paramit – factory in the forest.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Gregers Reimann is the managing director of IEN Consultants, the pioneering green building consultancy in Malaysia, with offices in Singapore as well as China. He specializes in building designs that have good daylighting, are highly energy efficient and have excellent thermal and visual comfort. Gregers is also a keen advocate for sustainable transport options, regularly giving talks to city planners and architects on “low-carbon transport options” and making the case for pedestrians and cyclists to “reclaim the streets”.
