NUS Clementi Bus Stop Student Design Competition
In conjunction with SDE50, the open design contest is for all current SDE students NUS SDE to propose how they would want to redevelop the bus stop at NUS Faculty of Architecture along Clementi Road. The awarded design will be presented after the competition ends in 2020.
The bus shelter is going to be an essential part of the redevelopment of the SDE campus, with a focus on being a platform for technologies to improve the health and wellbeing of users and supporting the school’s vision of an integrated WELL&GREEN campus. The bus stop design should aim to improve access, convenience and visibility, beyond comfort, vibrancy and innovation.
SDE students are invited to form teams of 3-5 members, preferably from at least 2 different departments from SDE. The 3 winning schemes will receive prizes of S$3000 (Grand Winner), S$2000 (1st runner-up) and S$1000 (2nd runner-up).
Student teams are to submit a proposal comprising of a design report and an optional scale model by 17 January 2020, 10am.
